Butterfly part 2

The second one actually hatched this morning. I wasn’t sure if he was going to because his cacoon had fallen from where he made it but he did and we released him this afternoon. What a fun thing to do. I think we will do it again next year.

What we found when we investigated the funny smell coming from under the house.

A drain pipe leak.

Oh the joy of living in a house that was built in 1926!

Our personal butterfly

A few weeks ago we went to a local store and got a few caterpillars. Our goal was to watch them grow and become butterflies.

The first one became a butterfly this morning and we set our painted butterfly free. It was very exciting.

West Rock Park

I was actually home on a Sunday so we took off for West Rock Park for a little adventure.
