This time last week it was cold and rainy and I was starting to have contractions. I thought that they were just teasers like the ones I had been having for over a week. Little did I know it was the real thing and that one week later we would be outside in the sun with an almost one week old. Life sure has changed in one short week.

What a beautiful baby. I am so happy she is healthy and you are past the pregnancy. Ellie looks just like you, Colleen, I had not seen that before until I saw her with the Baby. Congrats to both of you.
I agree with Polly Anne. Ellie looks exactly like a picture I took of Colleen when she was about the same age. She was sitting on the front porch with PaPa and had a little hat on. It’s so hard to believe that the little girl I photographed then is now a beautiful grown woman with little ones of her own. To me, Colleen, you will always be the child I loved to watch growing up, and you will always be the child I fell in love with as soon as you were born. I see the lovely woman and great mom you are now, but in my mind’s eye and heart of hearts, I still cuddle that little girl that you once were. When I cuddle our little Ellie, I remember cuddling you. I’m delighted that Ellie has a beautiful little sister to share her life, and I’m delighted that you guys are finally able to have a joyful family time with a baby who does not need all of those medical people hovering about. You have been ever present in our prayers for a healthy baby and healthy pregnancy and delivery. I’m grateful for all of the miracles and prayers that have helped our Ellie be healthy enough to be the motherly big sister she is. Praise the Lord!
Love & God Bless,
Auntie A.
PS: I love Sadie’s name.
