There could not be a more tender photo than that of Colleen and Ellie; especially knowing the history. I can’t wait to tell Jan when he comes home! I would have to say that that one photo holds a thousand words and evokes so much elation that it is hard to not feel choked up. I am so immensly happy for the three of you. You have fought a very long hard battle but held on and believed in the positive outcomes. I admire you both a lot and could not feel more joy and happiness for you both than I do now. I am just so happy.

Colleen/Ken/Ellie: Tears are very appropriate for this occasion. Wayne just walked out, saying, I can’t imagine going through this with one of my grandchildren. He had tears, too. I “ditto” Alice’s indulgence. To God Be the Glory, Great things He has done. Ellie appears to be the benefactor. How fabulous to see Mommy holding Ellie!!! and how wonderful that Daddy got to feed her last night!!!God is watching and caring for Ellie…. and how wonderful that He gifted her with such wonderful parents!!!…. and great medical teams caring for her…. and lots and lots of folks who love her….
am enjoying sharing great news with church and friends who are praying for Ellie, parents, and medical team…
