While Ken was away at a Bachelor party, his mom came up to hang with us girls. We decided what better way to celebrate Johnny Appleseed’s birthday then to go apple picking at a local orchard.

We scored loads of yummy apples and have made apple crisp, apple turnovers, apple coleslaw and there has been lots of apples eaten with peanut butter -one of Ellie and my favs.
