In the words of the famous Dora the Explorer “we did it, yay we did it!”
Shortly ater I posted the nurse came in and sprung us. We made it home a little after 1:00p.m. We had to go by and get Ellie’s medicines. Now we are hanging out and enjoying just doing nothing on our own sofa, together. Hopefully we will have a lttle while before any more craziness.

woo hoo! Nothing like being in your own home, on your own sofa–Gregg and I should know:):) Here’s looking foward to a peaceful, calm week–maybe the girls upstairs have some leftovers for you! I’m SURE miss E won’t pass up a chance to eat some good ol’ southern food. If she already likes sun-dried tomatoes (of all things), just think what a hurting she will put on some fried chicken:):) I’m so glad you are all home–have a great weekend!! Now, on to Thursday!! Love, Julie and Gregg
We were in NC yesterday, so got this late. We are delighted to hear that your little one made her get away. (Loved the getaway vehicle!) Ok, so back to praying for boring days. Take a nap, enjoy your time together (and hopefully some leftovers), and post again when you can. xxx ooo Auntie A.
I am so glad to hear that you guys are back home safe and sound. We too were in NC yesterday (I didn’t bump in to your Auntie Alice, I don’t think) so I didn’t get to check the blog. I was relieved today to see that all is well. Whew. The Pankos deserve a vacation!! Take care, and lots of continuing love.
P.S.- when you get a chance, I need your house address. no rush though.
Just doin’ nothing has never sounded so good…
Welcome Home! hope Ellie continues to feel better each day…. love the ‘driving of the car’ picture….. teen years are a’coming….. sorry you missed the ‘southerners pot luck dinner’….. it is ‘comfort food’ – we hope that they saved some ‘comfort’ for you all….
