The last few weeks have been full of Olympics.

Ken and I love it and I think we have passed that onto Ellie. We have been DVR-ing it all and showing the best bits to Ellie. What this really means is we have been showing her ice skating and snowboarding. Those are her favorites. Ice Skating because of the pretty costumes and the fun on the ice and snowboarding because Shawn White has a “zipper” and a special heart as well.

In the spirit of the ice skaters Ellie has been wearing costumes and “ice skating” around our living room for the last two weeks.

I have to say I am a bit sad to see that it is over and I can barely wait for two more years to pass and we have the Summer Olympics in London.

Since I flew all weekend we are watching the final ceremony tonight together after dinner.
