We woke up yesterday, and since it was supposed to be warm and beautiful, decided to make a journey down to NYC and the Central Park Zoo (I say journey it is only about a hour and 1/2 drive down).
It was great. The zoo itself isn’t that big but was perfect for Ellie and us and since it got really warm.
We all loved watching the polar bear and the penguins. I do have to say, I kept looking for the giraffe, the hippo, the zebra and the lion because of the movie Madagascar but none of those were actually at the zoo. Movies can be so miss leading.
The day ended with a big ice cream from FAO Schwarz. It was super yummy and huge.
I am so glad we motivated and went down for the day.

OMG – cutest ever! I soooo want that ice cream Sunday – but would trade it in a second to watch Ellie eat it! These posts are adorable – but this one is great!!! You should be printing all of this for a baby book for her – it chronicles your life together. Thanks for sharing.
