After waking this morning to the house thermostat saying it was 54 degrees INSIDE the house, I finally broke down and turned on the heat. Now the house is nice and toasty even if it isn’t outside.
At least we have a nice fall view from our window:

Our house got down to 62 degrees today after a good frost last night. I caved in my own self and hit the thermostat.

Ooooh! Time for hot chocolate with loads of whipped cream, fuzzy socks, good books, beautiful sweaters, and naps! I must admit I stepped across that cool floor a little gingerly this morning. The dogs must have concurred . . . all three of them were in bed with us this morning.
