That is one of the nicest hospitality houses for pediatric patients that I have ever seen. A lot of attention to detail went into making that a comfortable place for families and patients. My very favorite picture is the Ellie/Daddy “hug” picture. I love the look on both of their faces.

Tears and amazement that you continue to go through these days as a couple and as a family with such grace and dignity. EB’s name was lifted up in church this morning by our worship leader, who spent time in the hospital herself for cleft palate surgery and endured lots of painful and scary things related to that health problem when she was a child. It brought tears to my eyes to see her compassion . . . there are so many people who “know” Ellie Beth and care about her, although they have never met her. These same people “know” Ken and Colleen and Sadie too. I want you to know that when I ask these people to pray, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that they will. Blessings and peace to you all as you go through these days of preparation and concern. You are being carried on the wings of so much prayer and with the love of so many people that you don’t even know but who care about you.
